Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Buying mastery points. It should be possible to use Spirit shards for buying mastery points, and toggle between mastery XP or shards after 80. Nobody thinks it's a big deal when Proof of Heroics are spent on hero points Missing out on other things they can be spent on is enough sacrifice.
I did solely story and map exploration on my first ever character - a mesmer - until level 80.I started HoT story at level 80 while simultaneously opening maps, but I stopped the story after I got gliding and I went to doing LS2 story instead.By the time PoF came out, I was just starting to work through the HoT story - but by then I was already
the leveling process is slow, you could use the level 80 boost and go get skill points I mean unless you want to use the base class to level but the base class is a different playstyle then the elite ones anyway, but it's your choice to play how you want The base class can be fun before 80, it's just different, and before the level 80
Get some Gear. After that, you should get some gear. Exotic gear is orange in color and it is incredibly strong for its price point. You can find exotic gear for a few GW2 gold pieces on the Black Lion Trading Post. Having level 80 stats will drastically improve your capabilities in any end-game mode.
Plenty to do, it takes you to new areas, and sets up the story for many events and connects the bigger story. Good way to get gear, mats, make some money, explore, minis, etc. Play your storyline with it though, it helps explain what the heck you're doing.
8 skill points were earned at levels 20, 26 and 32. 7 skill points were earned at levels 38, 44, 50 and 56. 6 skill points were earned at levels 62, 68, 74 and 80. Usage Skill acquisition . To learn a skill, players would open the Hero panel, select the Skills and Traits tab on the left, then select Slot Skills. Each locked skill would display
Had a level 24 Elementalist that was made 3 years ago, so with the change in Hero Points it had a bunch of stupid abilities auto-selected. But I figured if I just leveled up quickly enough, I'd get a bunch of Hero Points to fill out a different track. So I used the one level 30 Experience Scroll I had from the 3rd Birthday gift, and went to
Hero points are basically the skills points of the past. You have 198? Hero points in core tyria and loads more in HoT areas. You also get enough from leveling to 80 to get all the skills and traits unlocked for your core specialization. If you want to unlock your elite specialization, you need to do hero point challenges in the game.
Players Helping Players. Returning player question about main characters. Hello - I haven't played in a while, and to be honest I really don't have much experience with the game. I got a character to level 80 a few years ago, but barely dug into the content. Now I have returned, I'm feeling a bit lost, and have a couple of questions.
This happened to me more than once last night. It even happened after leveling and I received a message saying I earned more hero points after I leveled. But it was still stuck at 3 points…. The bottom line is it seems to be bugged for me and I’m not getting the hero points after I earned them…
And we should get 398 hero points on getting to level 80. Everything was working well before this patch on 11/9. Now, after many levels, the hero points remain to be zero. And when checking the net, at level 29 I should have gotten 8 hero points, and at level 31 another 8 hero points.
HoT:Verdant Brink - 110 hp total - 1 veteran (easy soloable), 7 communes = 80 hp solo. Auric Basin - 110 hp total - bacon hero point + 2 commune, if you go into the hole after AB octovine meta you can pretty much always get the champion fight against the exlated there too. additionally, the golem hero point here only spawns champions for hp trains- if you go alone, it's 3 veteran golems which
If it's the same as the other classes, you get 398 hero point for leveling. That's ~80 point to max a normal trait line + skills, assuming they are all bundled together and equal weight. (They probably aren't since Invocation doesn't have a legend tied to it). You could easily max 2-3 you like and have points left to start on Herald.
250 Hero Points (Elite Specialization) You can unlock skills by spending hero points in the training tab inside the hero panel. Hero points are earned by leveling up and by completing hero challenges found throughout Tyria. Hero points are character currencies used to progress characters through training skills and traits.
There are 202 hero challenges right now, and there will be more in the new Heart of Thorns zones. It will only take 60 points to unlock the traits for the elite specialization, and assuming it gives 1 healing / 3 utility / 1 elite skill of the new skill type, it will take 2 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 9 = 22 points to unlock the skills.
When you hit 80, if you don't have HoT or masteries, the exp doesn't go towards anything (same as if you have HoT but have masteries for that region maxed already). Then I guess I need to buy HoT so the experience would count towards something towards character impovement once I reach level 80. Thanks guys for the info.
I think it would be even more of a problem for someone to boost their first character to 80, buy hero points to unlock elite specs, buy gems to convert to gold to get equipment (either directly from the TP or via things like buying materials to level crafting to make ascended), buy the waypoint unlocks and whatever other upgrades and cosmetics
The hero points in core Tyria only give one point. In HoT you get 10 points as well, but the hero challenges are harder and sometimes even require a group.I bought both when I returned as a player since my archer was only like lvl 15. Got him up to 80 now with the boost. I have one more boost left.
Guild Wars 2 Discussion. They are selling hero points in the gem store now. I don't know how to feel about this So now apparently you can buy an item that allows you to complete a hero challenge in any expansion. Pay some money, skip the hero challenge and get the points. Plus bonus, makes map completion easier cause you don't have to do
